About the Serata
The Saint Nicholas Serata for Charity is the annual fundraising event held each year as a part of the Saint Patrick's (formerly located at Santa Susanna Church) American Community of Rome commitment for outreach to the poor, the ill, the refugee, the aged and the homeless in town. Each year and close to the feast of St. Nicholas, the Patron Saint of the Poor and Homeless, a gala dinner dance, with raffle prizes, silent and live auctions, is held. Over the last several years, the great success of this event has come from the commitment, creativity and energy of the members of our community.
Come and participate, ushering in the holiday season with the English speaking Saint Patrick's Community in a Christmas giving event with great food, dancing, and a silent and live auction. Your involvement in all aspects of organization, from set-up of the venue to post dinner activities, attending the dinner and actively bidding in the silent and live auctions will guarantee you a night of memorable fun.
The lightness of giving, great food and wine, music and dance, and the company of the church community and guests like you will surely last you the entire Yuletide season!
